The University of California, Davis is home to more than 800 postdoctoral scholars.
The Postdoctoral Scholars Association (PSA) provides resources, information and representation
for postdoctoral scholars on the UC Davis campus. The PSA also strives to create a stronger sense
of community through an e-mail listserv, Web site and social activities.

- The National Institutes of Health as announced a new K-series award for postdocs, the
Pathway to Independence Award (K99/R00). International postdocs are eligible to apply. Click

UC Davis Laboratory Management Institute offers a comprehensive lab management course for postdoctoral scholars. Click

- The
UC Davis Center for Entrepreneurship is now offering
Business Certificate Fellows Program open to interested postdoctoral scholars. This is a one-year training course. In addition, they also provide a one week
Business Development Intensive Program.
- Postdocs have a new teaching opportunity: The Teaching Resources Center is offering postdocs an opportunity to teach

- The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) website contains information regarding mentoring, resources for international postdoctoral scholars, and current news about policies that affect postdoctoral scholars.
